Journeymen Steel Fabricator

Kelowna, BC

We are seeking a full-time  permanent Journeymen Steel Fabricator. We are looking for a positive, team-oriented individual who can contribute to the growth of the company.

You will be responsible for:

•  Fabrication of steel assemblies ranging from simple tables to complex sawmill equipment.
• Review drawings to plan a fabrication strategy and recognize any possible issues.
• Following both customer and internal prints to ensure parts meet quality expectations
• Safe and efficient use of supportive tools such as grinders, jigs/fixtures etc.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of fabrication experience.
• Sawmill experience an asset.
• High attention to detail
• Proven team player
• Familiar with testing and measuring equipment
• Valid CWB tickets an asset, but we will provide testing for any required procedures
• Able to work independently with little supervision.

• 10 hour shift
